Mount Cook Adventure Centre

Not-for-profit organisation Mount Cook have now welcomed tens of thousands of young people to experience adventure in an outdoor setting. They offer a huge range of activities that are led in a way that encourages the participants to engage with nature. The centre is becoming greener ever year, with solar and biomass providing a proportion of energy used, including powering the centre’s electric minibus – and electric car charging is also offered for guests. Mount Cook work alongside the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to incorporate nature learning in all of their courses and activities.
