Duncan and Rebecca Stokes have taken an important but underused Peak District heritage building and transformed it into a charming, vibrant base from which to explore the Monsal Trail on foot or by bike. The café is a celebration of delicious local food. Buying local is second nature to them – a huge number of local suppliers are used, which translates to a significant spend in the local economy. Those products sourced and made locally will also reduce food miles and the associated environmental impact.
