Derbyshire Wildlife Trust works to promote and protect wildlife across Derbyshire. They manage 11 nature reserves within the Peak District National Park, as well as many others across Derbyshire, and manage the land to encourage the plants, fungi, lichens and mosses, insects, birds and wild animals that are special to each site. They work to engage people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy and appreciate nature and have range of activities and projects aims at young people, small children and disadvantaged groups.
